Mixtape: Onlooker's Jubilee

Finally, to close out the calendar year on mixtapes, here's an hour of (mainly) '60s pop songs from Europe. It goes heavy on the Belgians, the Germans and the Slavs. It veers between schmaltz-pop and photocopied psych-pop with admirable dexterity. It also contains a song in English with a French title recorded by a Liberian band based in Germany. Because gene pools are for suckers. Have a great new year; let's see what kind of trouble we can get ourselves into in 2018.
